for a long while, i really didn't feel like posting photos of the famous Malaysian twin towers. it is because there are just too many photos of them already! they're already too conspicuous that I know the photos I took of them already lost its novelty.

hey artemis. we plan to go to malaysia in august. the itinerary's all set and everything, but i'm still debating whether or not to go visit those towers. is it worth it or can we just skip it? :)

it's kinda worth it not for the towers itself but for the other things around there. big/branded shopping centers... and the parks around are i think worth seeing as we don't have those like here as far as i know. there's also a big aquatic "museum" or something like that (which i did not visit). there's not much to see in Kuala Lumpur. 3 days is enough.

thanks, artemis. i'm not really a fan of shopping malls and such. :) and we don't plan to stay in kl. it will just be a transit point to the areas we plan to go to - melaka, pahang, penang, langkawi.

yes, indeed they are high-end shopping malls and i didn't buy a single thing. just had coffee and cinnamon rolls at one of the glittering cafes.
i've been to all those places you mentioned.. where in Pahang?...

now i'm reminded about what i heard before that the Malaysian government hired a japanese construction company to build one of the towers and a south Korean company to build the other. that's one of the most interesting actual business and political humor i've ever known about. :-)
